MSN Live Messenger Memory Leak

Today I was just doing some compiles of the website while checking the database and I noticed everyting starting to lock up. I loaded up task manager and this is what I saw: [image] Holy cow! That's the most memory I've seen any application use... ever! And I've made some pretty inefficient

Holy cow! That's the most memory I've seen any application use... ever! And I've made some pretty inefficient graphic editing apps before... Just under a gig of ram... Eek.

I've since updated to .0566 and everything is much better. using under 50megs.

Its still not a small amount but its a monkey load less than the gig it was taking up.

well i am having the same problem i think!
wen i sign on it just hangs and kinda crashes!
it is doing my head in!
i am on the basic msn and it is driving me around the bend!
i have looked ALL over the internet for a solution but i just cant find one!
please help me ASAP! PLEASE!

Try upgrading to the very latest version (the BETA). It's a slightly cleaner design (in places) and it might work out better on your system.
