hmm...adblock plus blocked that google ad. I dont think this script works on latest adblock coz they are not using css rule to hide it anymore. It just simply blocks it.

Well the actual site is whyfirefoxisblocked.com but the site that's 'hacked' is whyisfirefoxblocked.com. They're two different sites. Seems like nobody hacked anything there. I don't know for how many days people where like .. "Woah Coool, the firefox guys hacked that site!". How stupid.

I love this little trick. But, I dont like how it uses that ugly pop-up message box when it detects the person is using adblock.

instead, i would rather have a nice yellow box that comes over my page, sort of like on this site :

anyone know what changes I must make to achieve this ?

For a long time, I made my own web browsing of IE6 and 7 to disable ads, javascript, and other sort of "Evilism." Now NoScript, Adblock, WOT, YesScript(Disable the No Right Click Issues), and other stuff intervene the common problems on the website. I'll say this plain and simple, the Internet is not a stable platform for marketing, abuse advertising and their rights to advertise will disappear. Hasta la vista to dumb advertisements and frauds.

Finally some peace of the mind on the internet.

How about creating another addblocker to load&hide ads and depending on the AdService company silently clicks/closes ad after x seconds ^^

In this way we could surf without the ads but still support the owner of the website :D
