yeah… I am a PS3 owner for about a year now, and while my friends (since they have had their 360’s for about the same, if not less time than I’ve had my PS3) have gone through about, 2-6 360’s

not saying that the 360’s is a shitty system, cause the online play is pretty damn good, cept for the price, and the games are good, if the system didn’t die every goddamn 8-14 months, I have to admit, i loved playing gears of war and the one about the under the sea shit…
but those are really the only two games i enjoyed on the 360 for more than a week or two… and the other games i enjoyed are also out on the PS3, sooo… it’s got the advantage of time, but they are evenly matched, though if you look at recent sales, PS3 is pulling ahead relative to 360’s sales since it’s been released, and with the recent switch of some major movie companies to blu-ray, i think the 360 is going to see less sales and the possibly drawn out extinction of the HD-DVD, maybe not in it’s games, but there won’t be many movies, so if you pitch-forked out the 100 extra dollars for the HD movie player, enjoy it while you can

which brings me to my other point, the PS3 is pricey, yes, but it automatically comes with it’s HD movie player, it’s wireless internet, and HDMI out port, and a controller charging cable.
While the 360 (excluding the recent “Elite”) did not have wireless internet, no HDMI out, which isn’t that bad considering it had the other cables, but rather bulky, and you had to rely on AA batteries.

Oh, and the AC adapter, who could forget that… considering the 360’s is larger than a brick, and weighs about the same, now the Two-prong accessibility is handy, except you can buy a 3prong - 2 prong adapter for about 60 cents, whereas it may not be protected during power surges, but i wouldn’t be playing in a thunderstorm anyway…

-and there are demos in full HD

if anybody has a clever rebuttal,

I like my ps3 a lot - even though I have never played a single game on it, as I use it to play back blu-ray movies.
I pray to it and my toro personal pace lawnmower all the time.
I also like the ps3 because it is so shiny - but dust keeps getting on it and that makes me really sad.
My most favorite fish movie to watch is called mr. lippert. it has don nots in it and the fish has lips just like him but he died
a couple of years ago. my most favorite bikini movie is called dinosour island. it has really cool dinosours in it and they make scarry sounds when they eated people.

Ha Ha! I laugh at how retarded you are! Half this shit is wrong! And you complain they keep the controller the same then you complain the change it! Please, don't type stuff on the internet if you are a dumbass that doesn't know wtf you talking about! PS At least it doesn't overheat like my 360 did! You stupid little Xbox fanboy.

Just in case you ever come back, IAMNOTTELLING (btw, brave of you), some things to consider:

1. This was written before the release of the PS3. The post is almost as you are.
2. This is a summary of PR fuckupage on Sony's behalf (the left had appeared to have no idea what the right hand was doing)
3. Half this shit is wrong because Sony U-turned on so many things. The other half is true and the PS3 is a worse product for it.
4. I don't have, never have had nor do I want an XBox. You'd know that if you'd bothered to read.

Those reasons sound really funny at the end of 2009. With the PS3 slim being smaller, cheaper and with all the amazing first party games Sony invested on, we can definitely say that the PS3 is now better than the 360. You have many reasons to buy one, free online, bluray, netflix now on PS3, web browser, PSN and PS3 disc exclusive games. Microsoft charges fro Live and uses the money to give you "exclusive" games that in reality are just "time exclusives" and later drop on the PS3 updated and with more content. Sony invests in first party games that will never go to the 360 and I like that approach better. Cross game chat is coming to the PS3 too. The same features that Live has now the PS3 has. So many reasons why you should get a PS3, go get one now!
