lol...u avoided what i said completely...but u cant honestly think they changed the release date simply because there stupid, there could have been any number of problems, and to us consumers the release date doesn’t really matter anyway

About the rumours 2, when I think about it, I never heard any rumours? And the only people who would know these rumours are people who go around on forums talking about it ( we’re sad aren’t we :( ) , and they don’t make up a huge amount of the sales….

But who cares anyway! Because there going to give me FREE online muhahahha!!!

wow. more sony hate posts, i must admit im starting to get bored of all this shit. Yes i agree sony have messed up bigtime. However the ps3 itself is and will be the best in the future, the wii is hella fun to play but will not last as long and the 360 is better for what halo, gears of war? cant think of anything else that its got better than ps3 cept better online play. I own a 360 at the moment, however in 2008 i will get a ps3, because it will have so many more good games on it, the price will be lower and it is my personal preferred choice giving a wider range of things and more exclusives that i like, plus being able to play blu ray movies is nice. Stop the whining all the consoles are good for different reasons, it makes me sick enough to waste 5 minutes of my life writing this crappy comment to see you waste a good few hours of yours making your ridiculous 'hate list'. Sony sucks, but the ps3 has so much potential and will be fucking sweet before too long.

Before I state anything, let me present my position:
I have a Wii, a 360, and a gaming PC, which I recently built myself. It has the ability to graphically surpass both the 360 and PS3 with relative ease. I owned a PS1 as well as a PS2, sold them both. I happen to like Sony, but only in terms of audio equipment. One of my surround sound systems is Sony, and I have to say that it works beautifully.

That being said, the 360, Wii, and PC all offer different things in the world of gaming. If someone doesn't own a 360 or a powerful gaming machine PC, then I can see why they may favor the PS3. In my opinion, the PS3 is not something I want or need. I watch HD movies on my computer constantly, (obviously in HD resolution), so the Blu-Ray player isn't necessary for me, and the library of games for the PS3 is too similar to the games currently available on the PC or 360. IMHO, the PS3 was marketed very poorly, and they, (Sony), attempted the duplicate the PC elitist attitude, "The PS3 is for the serious gamer...." "The PS3 is for the people who want high-end gaming capabilities"....etc. No, sorry, that's what gaming PC's are for...and Sony will never surpass PCs, whether in terms of game-play, graphics, or number of players.

To all of the Wii haters...you guys really have no idea what you are talking about. The Wii isn't even really in competition with the 360 OR PS3, because Nintendo comprehends the fact that virtually every other major gaming company is concentrating on graphics, while sometimes forgetting about gameplay, and the raw fun that video games were decades ago. Nintendo is working for a different market. If you aren't interested in games revolving purely around no-frills gameplay and entertainment, then the Wii simply isn't for you.

In the end, its all a matter of personal opinion, and I happen to agree with original list posted, citing over 100 reasons of how Sony utterly botched what may have been a great chance to put themselves in a good position for their own future of gaming. Maybe the PS3 is comparable to the Dreamcast?
