This is so very cool.. but, has anyone tried to install a complete OS on a flashdrive, like a streamlined XP? Is that doable??

I have a standard 8GB USB stick, I work in an engineering role, and use such tools as Hirens, this helps with various hardware and software test. Does anyone know how to make this bootable on my usb stick? I have a cd with hirens, but this goes missing a lot. Thanks to anyone who canhelp in advance.

Unetbootin asks for a diskimage before I can select my flash drive and press OK - can anyone tell me what the diskimage is supposed to be - I don't know what to put in there ?

Please help....!
I got this error message, " BOOTMGR image is corrupt. The system cannot boot."
And when I change the boot sequence in the BIOS to USB Flash or Internal DVD Rom, and restart... I got this msg.,
"The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum."

What should I do? Please help....

Tried to format my stick with the hp tool but when i try to do it, it says my stick is in use by another application. Anyone know which program it might be. Using Vista.
